80 Shia orphans donate over Rs 1 lakh for the construction of the Ram temple
Over 80 orphans from Saadatganj Orphanage of All India Shia Orphanage in Lucknow and members of the minority community donated over Rs 1.5 lakh for the construction of the Ram temple. Donations ranged from Rs 1,100 to Rs 10 and Rs 100.
Former Chairman of the Shiite Waqf Board of Directors Wasim Rizvi said: âSuch an initiative will send a message of unity to those who work to divide people in the name of religion.
RSS executive member Indresh Kumar said a new chapter of mutual harmony will be written with the construction of the Ram Temple.
The Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is leading a mass contact and fundraising campaign from January 15 to February 27 for the construction of the great temple in Ayodhya.
Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Secretary Champat Rai, reportedly said: âTrust accounts in three nationalized banks show more than Rs 1,000 crore. Almost 1.50 lakh of VHP activists fundraise for the temple Ram. 37 activists were appointed to deposit donations into bank accounts. “
