Police say the victim, Ganesh Sahani, works with a fundraising company based at Mohan Estate on Mathura Road. Deputy Police Commissioner (South) Atul Kumar Thakur said: “We recorded a case and during the investigation we found out that the three men who committed the theft were on a silver colored motorbike which had a fake license plate. We then examined the victim at length and also questioned the workers of the company and suspected the involvement of an insider in passing information to the three men about the money, â€he said. On the basis of technical surveillance and human intelligence, the defendants were arrested on Tuesday evening and Rs 2,21,000 in cash were recovered, the DCP said. Two cell phones, a motorcycle and the toy gun were seized, he added.
